Most kitchens in Irvine will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Ever been in a situation where Iβm craving Chinese food, but my husband wants fried chicken? π€π₯Ή Then you suddenly get a sample. π± And it turns into a full meal. πππππ₯ Started off with this fully stuffed grilled bao. π€€ The soul? This house-made chili oil. πΆοΈπ₯ It pairs surprisingly well with their crispy fried chicken. π And their chicken wings too! A multipurpose chili oil! ππΆοΈ Ig: socalhkfoodies

My family and I landed at John Wayne airport and were looking for a great meal close by. Bao chicken surpassed in flavor, freshness and quality. We were pleasantly surprised by the enthusiastic and friendly greeting of the person taking orders. He made us all smile and feel very welcome. He offered samples of the crispy chicken. We were hooked with the taste of the sample, and ordered sandwiches and chicken tenders. The size of my chicken sandwich was massive. Iβm happy to say I had a second meal from the leftovers. Also, you get to choose if you want thigh meat or breast. I chose the breast meat for my sandwich, and it was still juicy and tender as well as crispy. I also love that the fries were delicious and they came with lots of different sauces. Iβll definitely be stopping by again.

This completely exceeded my expectations. No matter what restaurant you go to, their chicken cutlets can't compare to those here. It's really worth recommending. This guy (the owner) is very talkative.

The couple is soooo nice I wish this place was had more foot traffic the chicken is so good in the burrito that I'm half way and still not soggy!!! Super crispy and the sauce is boss. The teas is great I would have this again every time I go to the airport I hope they stay strong. It's so easy to get here and out. The bathrooms are right next door.
